My wanderlust began early. Growing up on the continent of Africa gave me a vast and rich worldview. I climbed mountains, swam oceans, and sailed in the deep blue seas. Foreign languages and sounds swirled among ethnic food and burning fires. I took those experiences and carried them back with me to the USA. Having lived in Colorado for over 20 years, I’ve found my way back to a childhood menagerie of senses. I hike the Rocky Mountains, I drink the local brews. I cook with food from local farmers and I still find local songs on my current Spotify lists.
This blog is a journal of my travels, my experiences and my food. I expect authenticity from myself; no bullshit and no filters. My deep desire is to simply share what I see in this world with you, my reader.
